Hi, I’m Sari Zeidler. This is a site where you can learn about me and view my work.
I am an award-winning multimedia journalist with five years of experience in broadcast and digital media.
I currently curate the CNN.com homepage, making sure CNN’s latest and most dynamic content grabs our community. Specifically, I specialize in strategic link building. It’s my job to take innovative content and showcase it in a metrics-driven, creative way.
I come directly from CNN’s longform In America unit where I was part of the production team that made CNN original documentaries. I also wrote, filmed, edited and produced original web content that strengthened the In America brand.
I started my career with CNN in the Washington D.C. bureau after a two-year career as a print and online local news journalist in New York. I am skilled at all areas of production both in the field and in a newsroom.
I possess strong technical skills and thrive in a digital news environment. I enjoy purposing content for multiple platforms and believe the future of news is interactive.
I am skilled at writing, desktop editing, field production, social media and blogging.
